Blog post #14

Where will I be conducting all my research?

In this blog today, I'm going to talk about where my research on Ethiopian cuisine is going to take place. Because, I mean, you can't really write about Ethiopian food without experiencing it firsthand, right? So I went out and attempted to search for restaurant that will provide me with the authenticity that I requireAnd the name of the restaurant is Awash Ethiopian Restaurant, located in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Now, I know the area might be a little suspect to some, but after doing some serious research, I found that this little family-owned business is well liked by its customers. The reviews speak for themselves. The food gets great reviews, with people talking about the great bold flavors and traditional dishes, which is exactly what I'm searching for when doing my research.

A high point of Awash Ethiopian Restaurant is the family-owned and operated feelYou can sense that the people who operate this restaurant pour their heart and soul into the food they serve. That'what I always look for in the way of authentic eating experiences—it's not so much the food; it'the love and passion that goes into preparing the food. And from what I understand, that's definitely here.

While the location may not be in
downtown proper or a tourist spot, it'obvious that Awash has built a loyal local following, something that speaks volumes about both food and service. Service itself has received positive commentssomething which serves to make a dining experience about more than the food alone.

I
'm really looking forward to going there and experiencing the Ethiopian food scene first-hand. I'll be trying the traditional dishes, the ambiance, and the overall dining experience. But, as usual, that will be the topic of a future post. For now, I just wanted to give you a little preview of where all this research will be happening.

Stay tuned for more as I
walk you through Awash Ethiopian Restaurant in Miami Gardens, and get ready to know it all about the rich culturehistory, and taste behind Ethiopian cuisine!
